Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue and Myrtle Beach police tend to an injured bicyclist hit by a car around 3:15 p.m. at the corner of 5th Ave. N. and Kings Hwy. in Myrtle Beach on Friday.
Southbound Kings Highway was closed at 5th Avenue North after a motorist hit a person on a bicycle Friday, according to Lt. Jonathan Evans with the Myrtle Beach fire department.
The victim was taken to Grand Strand Hospital, according to a reporter on the scene.
The reporter said road was unblocked around 3:30 p.m.
Developer Trey Smith rescinded his application with Georgetown County for a zoning amendment that would allow the building of 108 one-bedroom condos where 17 clay tennis courts sit at the closed Litchfield Racquet Club.
