A 22-year-old Ohio man died after he was hit by a vehicle in Myrtle Beach early Friday.
Jeffrey Harris, of Cleveland, was killed in the collision at 1307 N. Kings Highway, according to Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.
Cpl. Tom Vest with Myrtle Beach police said Harris was hit about 12:45 a.m.
The driver remained on scene, and Vest said he doesn’t believe any charges will be filed.

The incident is still under investigation as police try to figure out why Harris was in the road when he was hit, Vest said.
