Conway woman who had been missing found safe
A Conway woman who had been missing for about a week has been found and is OK, authorities said.
Conway Police Lt. Selena Smalls confirmed Saturday that 54-year-old Veola Jackson is safe.
Police were contacted Friday about Jackson, whose family members told police she had not been seen since April 24. That’s when she was dropped off at a Coast RTA station in Conway to travel to Georgia, police said.
Jackson’s family told authorities she never made it to Georgia and had not been heard from since she was dropped off at the bus station.
