A mother of a 10-year-old student is suing the Horry County School District after she says a bus driver assaulted her child.

Horry County Schools will operate on a normal schedule on Thursday.

Lisa Bourcier, Horry County Schools spokeswoman, said early Thursday morning that the schools will be on a regular schedule.

Schools in neighboring counties are operating on delays, or closed ahead of the winter weather.
