Portion of Ocean Blvd. closed due to icy conditions
Part of Ocean Boulevard from 5th to 7th avenues north is close Thursday afternoon because of ice in the roadway, according to a Facebook post from Myrtle Beach police.
Authorities advise motorists to use Flagg Street as an alternate route.
Police say they will alert the public as soon as it is passable.
Part of Ocean Boulevard from 1st to 3rd avenues south is also closed due to ice.
