The Old Horry County Courthouse is closed Tuesday due to a power outage from a blown transformer, according to Lisa Bourcier, public information director for the county.

The courthouse, located at 1201 3rd Ave. in Conway, also houses the offices of the Conway Magistrate, Central Traffic Court, Central Jury Court, Delegation, Probation and Parole, Department of Juvenile Justice, and the Worthless Check Unit. No precious metal permits will be issued Tuesday, Bourcier said.

Court attendees are asked to call the offices Wednesday to reschedule hearing dates. All offices will be open on a normal schedule Wednesday, Bourcier said.

The clerk of court can be reached at 915-5080.
