Fire displaces family on Waccamaw Pines Drive
Four adults have been displaced from a home at 489 Waccamaw Pines Drive after a fire broke out in the single-wide trailer.
Smoke was billowing from the trailer when Horry County Fire Rescue crews arrived, but the fire was extinguished quickly, according to Mark Nugent, public information officer for HCFR.
Four adults were at the home, but all made it out to safety. No injuries were reported, Nugent said.
The fire caused moderate damage to the home, he said.
The American Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
