Motorists traveling the swing bridge at Barefoot Resort & Golf in early January should expect one-lane closures for about three weeks while bridge work is underway.
The annual maintenance work that includes repainting begins Jan. 2 and will be conducted by Saffo Contractors, Inc., according to a statement from the City of North Myrtle Beach.
Traffic controls will be established at the bridge and motorists should expect to encounter one lane of traffic at times throughout the maintenance period, the statement said.
