MYR expanding flights to one of the world’s busiest airports
Myrtle Beach International Airport is expanding its flights to Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport.
New flights offered by American Airlines starting on April 7, 2018 will go between DFW and MYR on Saturdays, departing MYR at 3:15 p.m., according to a news release.
The airline is already offering flights to DFW everyday except Monday between Dec. 24, 2017 and Jan. 7, 2018, according to Kirk Lovell, Director of Air Service and Business Development for Myrtle Beach International Airport.
Spirit Airlines will also offer non-stop service between MYR and DFW on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays starting April 12, 2018, said Lovell in an email.
The schedules for flights in late summer are not posted yet, he said.
Dallas/Forth Worth is ranked as the 11th busiest airport in the world, according to USA Today.
