U.S. 17 reopens after crash; cops investigating possible intoxicated driver
All four lanes of U.S. 17 Bypass were blocked near 38th Avenue North where a crash happened Monday afternoon.
Northbound traffic was being detoured onto Oleander Drive. Capt. Joey Crosby with Myrtle Beach police said a crash happened in the area, and that officers are investigating the possibility of an intoxicated driver.
Crosby also said there was a ladder and debris in the roadway.
