Relative facing murder charges after man found dead of multiple gunshot wounds

One person was killed Saturday night of multiple gunshot wounds, according to a release from Tamara Willard, Horry County chief deputy coroner.

Charles Yobak, 62, was pronounced dead. The release states that the incident occurred at his home on Southbury Drive in Horry County.

Shortly after 4 a.m. Christoper Charles Yobak, who lives at the same address and is related to Charles Yobak, was arrested by the Horry County Police Department. He is charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime and murder. No bail has been set.

Krystal Dotson, public information officer with the Horry County Police Department, confirmed that “Christopher Yobak is the arrestee involved with this incident.”
