Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle in Myrtle Beach
A pedestrian was struck and killed in a traffic collision Friday night in Myrtle Beach, according to Myrtle Beach police.
Officers responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of 8th Ave. South and Kings Highway, according to a release from Joey Crosby with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
The pedestrian died from injuries suffered during the collision, the release states.
The incident is still under investigation, according to the release.
The person’s identity will be released by the Horry County Coroner’s Office at a later time.
