Conway man killed after being hit by car
A Conway man was killed early Saturday after he was hit by a car on Highway 701 North, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick.
Shawn Singleton, 34, was struck by the vehicle just after midnight on Long Road in the Homewood Community in Conway, Hendrick said.
He was pronounced dead at Conway Medical Center from multiple injuries.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
