National sandwich chain in Carolina Forest opens in a few weeks

A Which Which Superior Sandwich shop is opening at The Plaza at Carolina Forest next month in the former Beef 'O' Brady's location.

The national chain already operates a popular make-your-own shop at Sayebrook Town Center in front of Target and another one at 1516 U.S. 17 North in North Myrtle Beach.

“That’s a big chain, so that’s kind of exciting,” said David Schwerd, deputy director of Horry County Planning and Zoning.

The restaurant applied to the county for an interior uplift permit on Aug. 4, and is planning to spend $110,000 to remodel the former sports bar.

Beef 'O' Brady's operated in the plaza for 15 years and closed in May.
