New bar and grill moving into Inlet Square Mall
J Peters Grill and Bar is making plans to move into the recently closed Applebee’s location at the Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet.
J Peters has already filed papers with the county to put up their new sign at the location, one of the last steps before a new business opens, said David Schwerd, deputy director of Horry County Planning and Zoning.
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar closed the location at 3256 U.S. 17 in August, but has other locations in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach and Conway.
J Peters, which specializes in slow-roasted prime rib, has eight locations in South Carolina including Pawleys Island, as well as restaurants in Georgia and North Carolina.
