North Carolina man dies after being hit by car in Little River
A North Carolina man was killed Sunday morning after he was hit by a vehicle in Little River.
Demontray Hill, 27, of Shallotte, died at the scene from multiple traumatic injuries, according to Tamara Willard, Horry County chief deputy coroner.
Hill was walking along U.S. Highway 17 around 3:30 in the morning when he was hit, Willard said.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
