Two new housing developments are headed to North Myrtle Beach, located in and around Barefoot Landing.
The first one, located at 600 48th Avenue South, will bring 14 homes to the area that is across the marsh from Barefoot Landing.
The ‘modern’ homes are currently under construction, according to the Bradley Development website, with units that are four bedroom, four bath and three bedroom, three and a half baths, both with two levels.
Amenities for Vues on 48th include nine foot ceilings, an elevator in each unit, outdoor porch areas and personal swimming pools for certain units.
Located behind Barefoot Landing, the Retreat at Barefoot Village will bring 34 single-family homes to the Barefoot Resort community.
The homes will range from the mid $200,000, with four different home designs, according to a press release from Pulte Homes. The homes will either face a central pond, wetlands, or the 18th green of the Norman course.
The new developments come amid changes at Barefoot Landing that will bring a new restaurant district, known as Dockside Village that will feature Lulu’s by Lucy Buffet. The district will face the Intracoastal Waterway.
Lulu’s will be a 400-seat restaurant that features live music, a sandy beach, a ropes climbing course and an arcade.
New stores are also headed to the area, including Antica Murrina, The Towel Company, IQ Toys and Café de Paris.
