Gas leak temporarily closes North Myrtle Beach intersection
The intersection of 24th Avenue North and Duffy Street in North Myrtle Beach is closed while crews work to repair a natural gas leak in the area.
The leak appeared to be coming from around a valve, said Pat Dowling, spokesman of North Myrtle Beach. The gas company was on its way to fix it, he added.
North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue crews were called to the gas leak minutes before 2 p.m.
The intersection will reopen once the leak has been fixed.
