My blessed journey through a recent illness

TNS

Some of you know that I have had some health issues in the past couple of weeks, and I appreciate the love and concern you have shown. I keep my health problems to myself when possible and try to never speak or act negatively about them.

I have been so very blessed through the journey and I have seen so many people that inspired me. I went into the system with eyes wide open, and saw so many things, such as doctors and nurses and people in so many fields doing their best.

I have a nurse in my family and he is often discouraged, feeling as though nobody appreciates him or his peers. I surely do appreciate nurses for all they do to keep us alive and for the comfort they can bring to sick and suffering people.

Another thing brought to my mind was the numerous people who are alone and don’t have big families like mine.

If you are mobile and find yourself with nothing to do, maybe a little bored and feeling useless, that isn’t true; there is always someone out there who needs you.
