Both lanes of U.S. 701 are blocked after a two vehicle collision occurred near Waccamaw Bend Road, according to Mark Nugent, public informaion officer with Horry County Fire Rescue.
Injuries are currenlty not know, Nugent said.

According to Conway police, two people were injured in a shooting near Coastal Carolina University overnight. CCU tweeted about the incident to inform its student. No suspect description has been released.
