One year ago today: Murrells Inlet man facing murder charge in Aynor woman’s disappearance

Horry County police on Thursday charged a Murrells Inlet man with murder in the death of Aynor resident Angela “Angie” Grace Pipkin.

Police, who executed a search warrant Thursday at a home in the Inlet Estates subdivision in Murrells Inlet, charged Randy Gale Robinson, 46, with murder Thursday.

Last week, Robinson was charged with obstruction of justice related to Pipkin’s disappearance.

Pipkin’s body had not been found late Thursday, marking the second time in two weeks that murder charges were filed before a body was recovered.
