Temporary flood advisory issued for west central Horry County
The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a temporary flood advisory for west central Horry County.
Other areas affected are central Florence, southeastern Darlington and central Marion counties, according to an updated briefing from the weather service.
The flood advisory is in effect until 10 a.m., and as much as 2 to 3 inches of rain has already fallen in some areas this morning which has resulted in some minor flooding.
An additional 1 to 3 inches will be possible through 10 am resulting in minor flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas, the weather service says.
