Myrtle Beach man succumbs to injuries a month after a wreck
A Myrtle Beach man died Sunday morning a month after being injured in a wreck on May 14.
Bruce Newmark was pronounced dead at 6:35 a.m.; he was 62 years old, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.
Fowler said the wreck happened at 3 p.m. on May 14 at Big Block Road.
Newmark was operating a motorcycle when he made contact with a pickup truck, Fowler said.
Newmark was transported to Grand Strand Medical Center with multiple trauma-related injuries, he added. He was not wearing a helmet, Fowler said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
