Unique barbershop made debut at Carolina Country Music Festival
Carolina Country Music Festival fans were in for a surprise this past weekend, thanks to American Crew.
With a simple before-and-after picture posted to Instagram, fans could receive a free haircut from the barbershop set up in the middle of the festival.
“Everybody needs a haircut,” Jeremy Garcia, of Sandbox Marketing, said.
The trailer was donned with barber chairs, mirrors and a waiting area, where fans could choose from three different cuts, which are based around rock and roll legends like Elvis Presley.
“It’s a music-based thing,” Garcia said.
Garcia travels with the barbershop across the country, offering free haircuts in cities such as Nashville, Tenn., Miami, Chicago and Portland.
“I drive around the city in a van and a trailer,” Garcia said.
This is the first year that the barber shop has come to the Carolina Country Music Festival.
