Lane closed for traffic incident on Carolina Bays Parkway

North Myrtle Beach police are advising motorists to use caution traveling northbound on Carolina Bays Parkway.

One northbound lane around mile marker 6 has been temporarily closed as crews respond to a traffic incident, according to an alert from the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety.

South Carolina Highway Patrol reported there was a pedestrian in the roadway at 5:12 p.m.
