Police found them sleeping in a car at the landing. They also found a mobile meth lab
Two people were arrested after police say they found them sleeping in a car that contained a mobile meth lab at Pitch Landing in Conway Sunday afternoon.
“Patrol units observed two people sleeping in a car” at the landing, said Krystal Dotson, spokeswoman for the Horry County Police Department. An “officer observed in the floorboard of the passenger side what appeared to be a one-pot style meth lab.”
One-pot labs, also referred to as shake-and-bake labs, are commonly used with old soda or water bottles, according to police.
Dotson said that the man and woman found in the car were both arrested. The man is accused of manufacturing methamphetamine and the woman was cited with other drug charges, Dotson said.
She added that the names of the suspects will be released once the two have been served with warrants.
