Coroner identifies man killed in S.C. 9 collision

A Longs man was killed in a wreck late Saturday night.

The fatal collision occurred just before 11 p.m. on S.C. Highway 9 near Turn Plow Drive in Longs, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden. “Christopher McIntyre died of injuries sustained in the collision.”

McIntyre was 33 years old.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
