Don’t strike that match. Burn ban back in place for Horry County

Not so fast on burning that yard waste.

A burn ban lifted earlier this week in Horry County has been put back in place as of Friday.

The ban has been placed because of low relative humidity and wind speeds. Outdoor burning is prohibited and subject to a fine during the ban, which is in effect until further notice.
