Crews respond to vehicle in pond in Horry County

Horry County police and fire are on scene in the Galivants Ferry area where a vehicle is submerged in several feet of water.

Battalion Chief John Fowler with Horry County Fire Rescue said he hadn’t heard that there were any occupants in the vehicle and said he had divers on stand-by in case they needed to search the pond near Pee Dee Road South and Gunters Island Road.
