Total number of passengers increased at MYR, compared to 2015
A total of 106,608 passengers passed through the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) in November 2016, according to a press release from the airport.
According to the release, this is an 8.7 percent increase compared to November 2015, which saw a total of 98,088 passengers.
Scott Van Moppes, director of airports for Horry County attributes the increase in passengers to a larger demand on both American and Delta Air Lines.
A total of 1,858,180 passengers have passed through MYR, year-to-date, an 6.0 increase as compared to the same time period in 2015, according to the release.
