Horry County Police are searching for a male who was reported missing out of Collier County in Florida. Police believe that Cosme Acosta Guerrero may have been in the Myrtle Beach area around the date of Hurricane Matthew.
Guerrero last had communication with family by phone when he stated that he was staying in a hurricane shelter, possibly in the Socastee area, and would contact them after the hurricane had passed.
After, Guerrero failed to communicate with the family, which they found to be out of the ordinary.
Guerrero is a 54-year-old Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos with four hearts with names on his right forearm as well as a mole next to his left eye. He is 5’07” and is 160 Ibs.
