Five arrested for trespassing and drug possession
Conway police charged several subjects on Dec. 7 with trespassing and drug possession.
Police were on a routine patrol in the Hemingway St./Taylor Square area when they observed several subjects under the carport of a home.
When officers stopped to investigate, the subjects ran into the home.
Officers then held an investigation, and after conferring with the property owner it was determined that the subjects were trespassing. Numerous complaints had been filed for loitering, trespassing, and drug activity around the location.
Davonte Shepard, 24, of Conway, Rakeem Onley, 24, of Conway, and Larry Maple, 21, of Conway were charged for trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana within close proximity to school.
Justin Bromell, 28, of Conway and Anthony Bromell, 24, of Conway were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana within close proximity to school.
The occurrence happened near Whitemore Park Middle School.
