Christmas Towne event has something for kids of all ages in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach kicks off the Christmas season this Sunday with the 13th Annual Christmas Towne event at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a host of free activities, including free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, face painting and balloon art, rides, inflatables, food, entertainment and lighting of the Myrtle Beach Christmas tree.

The event takes place from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the convention center, 2101 N. Oak St.
