Horry County police responded to call leading to possible drug deal
On Dec. 6 Horry County police responded to a suspicious person call on Pickering Dr. in Murrells Inlet, according to a police report.
Upon arrival, police spoke to a female victim who stated that she was assaulted by two suspects.
According to the report the victim was picked up by one suspect to go to Wal-mart. On the way to Wal-mart the first suspect stopped to pick up the second suspect at McDonald’s on Dick Pond Rd.
According to the report, the second suspect has a bad relationship with the victim because she owes the suspet money.
When the victim realized who the second suspect was she attempted to jump out of the car, but the first suspect sped away to a landing at the end of Enterprise Rd. instead of going to Wal-mart, according to the report.
Upon arrivial at the landing the victim was removed from the vehicle and then thrown up against the side of the car. According to the victim the first suspect struck her twice with a closed fist, and the second suspect struck her multiple times on the victims face and head.
According to the report, the victim was then forced back into the vehicle where the suspects left the landing and drove toward Hwy 707. While driving, the suspects passed a patrol vehicle responding to the landing at the end of Enterprise Rd. The suspects then took the victims phone.
The suspects then drove the victim to McDowell Short Cut Rd. and dropped her off at the corner of Pickering Rd., according to the report.
The victim then went door to door asking for help.
According to the report, police observed bruises and knots on the victims face, eyes, cheeks, and forehead. The victim was visibly shaken.
The victim was then excorted to her mother’s home at Alexander Ct. in Myrtle Beach. During that time police found that the victim’s husband was looking for her.
The police then spoke with the mother who said that the assault was due to a drug deal, according to the report.
According to the report the victim’s mother believes she borrowed money to buy drugs and that the suspect’s are drug dealers.
The mother is currently in a custody battle against the victims due to drug use, according to the report.
