Burning ban issued for state of South Carolina

WPDE reported that a burning ban for all Piedmont counties has been expanded by the South Carolina Forestry Commission for all area of state.

The ban will begin at 6 a.m. and has been expanded because of higher winds and lower humidity, according to the South Carolina Forestry Commission.

According to WPDE the National Weather Service will issue a Red Flag Alert Saturday because of dry and windy weather.
