Election Day this Tuesday

Voters will elect a new President of the United States, as well as state, county and school officers Tuesday.

Voting lasts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. statewide.

Among offices that registered voters can vote in include President, the 7th Congressional District, U.S. Senate, Horry and Georgetown county school board seats, Horry County Council seats and more.

‘Shuckin for a Cause’ in Litchfield Beach

The sixth annual Seafood Festival, “Shuckin’ for a Cause,” benefiting Tidelands Community Hospice Foundation of Georgetown will be from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Hanser House Restaurant, 14360 Ocean Highway N. (U.S. 17), Litchfield Beach. Admission is $5 and all-you-can-eat oysters is $20 in advance or $25 day of event.

Try a taste of Italy Saturday, Sunday

The 24th annual fall “Festa Italiana,” by Order Sons & Daughters of Italy in America, Myrtle Beach Lodge 2662, will be from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday (rescheduled from Oct. 8-9) at Broadway at the Beach, along 29th Avenue North in in Myrtle Beach. Admission is $1 admission.

Beach Music Awards this Sunday

The 22nd annual Carolina Beach Music Awards will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Alabama Theatre, on north end of Barefoot Landing, on U.S. 17 in North Myrtle Beach. Tickets are $40.95, $53.95 or $69.95.

Take in Christmas show to benefit charities

The 35th annual “Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals,” by Leisure Time Unlimited Inc. of Myrtle Beach and benefiting local charities will be from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and noon-6 p.m. Sunday, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, at Oak Street and 21st Avenue North.

Medieval Fest Saturday in Socastee
