Chilympics set for Sunday
The annual “Lip-Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cook-Off” for Surfrider Foundation Grand Strand Chapter will be noon Sunday (rescheduled from Oct. 9) at Hot Fish Club, King Street Grille, and Morse Park Landing, all on U.S. 17 Business, on south end of Murrells Inlet.

Surfside Heritage Days Saturday
The Surfside Beach Heritage Days will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on Third Avenue South and Willow Drive in Surfside.
Visit the site of the original indigo plantation in Surfside Beach. Costumed re-enactors will show you how life was on an indigo plantation.
Attendance is free.
Taste of Georgetown set for Saturday
The Family Justice Center, serving victims of domestic violence in Horry and Georgetown Counties, hosts the 7th annual Taste of Georgetown from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The event is a restaurant crawl on Front Street, with tents in Francis Marion Park serving as the site for non-Front Street participating restaurants.
