Georgetown drug investigation results in two arrests
Two individuals were arrested on Tuesday in Georgetown, after agents culminated a five month investigation into heroin distribution, according to a police report.
According to the report, one individual, Pierre Jujuan Ricardo Sanders, is currently on Federal Parole for his participation in a murder. Sanders broke off contact with his Parole Officer, changed his appearance, and tried to convince authorities that that he was someone else by giving a false name to agents when he was stopped.
During the on scene investigation it was determined that Sanders had passed a bag containing heroin and crack cocaine to a female passenger. The second individual, Turkeesha Minnifield was arrested when it was determined that she had possession of heroin and crack cocaine.
Sanders and Minnifield were wanted by Georgetown police at the time of their arrest.
Sanders was charged with eight separate offenses including trafficking heroin, possession with the intent to distribute crack, hindering/obstructing law enforcement, three counts of distribution of heroin, two counts of distribution of heroin within proximity of a school or park, and an arrest warrant traffic offense in the city of Georgetown.
Minnifield was charged with trafficking heroin, possession with the intent to distribute crack, and an arrest warrant for forger in the city of Georgetown, according to the report.
