Pawleys Island leaves some residents without power

About 1,000 people are without power in Pawleys Island, according to WBTW.

SC&G said that over 36,000 customers are experiencing outages in Charleston, Beaufort, and Dorchester Counties.

Santee Cooper hopes to have power back around 3:00 a.m., according to their website.

Pawleys Island appears to be the only area around the Grand Strand so far.
