Police respond to domestic dispute in Conway

Conway police responded to a domestic dispute Thursday morning at Ivy Lea Drive in Conway, according to a police report.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman who had been stabbed and who was severly injured.

Ashish Patel of Conway was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was transported to J. Reuben Long Detention Center to await a bond hearing, accoring to the report.

The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
