Coronavirus live updates July 15: Daily cases rise again in Horry County, Myrtle Beach
COVID-19 cases increased by 188 in Horry County on Wednesday afternoon, bringing the total number of positive cases in the county to 6,241 since mid-March, health officials announced.
Horry County has had 75 deaths due to the coronavirus, according to the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Cases in South Carolina have reached 62,071, with 984 reported deaths, according to DHEC. About 92 percent of nearly 26,000 people are estimated to have recovered from COVID-19 as of Monday.
