Conway Medical Center to provide free COVID-19 tests next week. Here’s what we know

Conway Medical Center will now offer additional free, drive-thru coronavirus testing as a part of an ongoing statewide effort to test as many people as possible for the virus.

Nasal tests will be used to see if you have the virus or not. No pre-screening is required to get a test, but you will be asked to provide basic demographic information and provide contact information to get your results.

The test will be done by a registered nurse while you remain inside your car. Tests are provided free of charge, and anyone in the public is encouraged to come.

CMC will host its testing center in the parking lot of Conway High School on June 10 from 2 to 7 p.m. and again on June 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Conway High’s street address is 2301 Church Street, Conway, SC 29526.

CMC joins Tidelands Health in offering these types of clinics. If you’re unable to attend the CMC dates, here is a list of the remaining Tidelands Health centers that offer the same tests for free with no pre-screening required.
