Coronavirus cases in Horry County have grown by 19 so far this week, health department data shows. There have been three deaths due to the virus in the county this week.
Here are the latest updates on the coronavirus in the Myrtle Beach area May 29.
Cases of the coronavirus have risen to 395 in Horry County since mid-March, according to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control. The county has had 24 virus-related deaths reported.
In Georgetown County, cases have increased to 71, with three deaths, DHEC reports.
South Carolina cases of the virus have surpassed 10,700 and deaths have reached 470 as of noon Friday, according to DHEC.
