The number of confirmed coronavirus cases is inching near triple-digits in Horry County, according to the latest data, as residents adjust to a “work or home” order.
Wednesday was the first full day under Gov. Henry McMaster stay at home order for South Carolina as officials try to slow the outbreak. Projections are that the state will hit its peak number of COVID-19 cases in late April or early May.

Horry County has a total of 91 confirmed cases of COVID-19, state health officials say. There have also been seven deaths in the Myrtle Beach area.
Health officials estimate there are another 557 cases in the county that have not been confirmed.
There are more than 2,500 confirmed cases of coronavirus across South Carolina and 63 deaths.
