The Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, Veterans Pier closed to public due to coronavirus outbreak

The Murrells Inlet Marshwalk and Veterans Pier are closed due to the coronavirus outbreak, Georgetown County officials said.

County spokesperson Jason Lesley said in a news release Monday afternoon public access will be prohibited until further notice.

Georgetown County currently has 21 confirmed cases of coronavirus with one death reported. Statewide there are 2,232 cases and 48 deaths.
