Here are the latest updates on the coronavirus in the Myrtle Beach area for April 3.

Positive cases of the coronavirus have reached 50 in Horry County, according to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control. There have been four deaths reported in the county due to the virus.

South Carolina’s positive cases has reached at least 1,554, with 31 deaths, DHEC reports. All 46 counties in the state have now reported positive cases.
