Another coronavirus patient in Horry County dies, DHEC confirms

A third patient with coronavirus in Horry County has died, state health officials confirmed Sunday.

The patient was elderly with underlying health conditions, but no other identifying information was immediately available.

Tidelands Health had reported Saturday that the second COVID-19 patient from Horry County to die was at one of its hospitals.

Horry County has 31 confirmed coronavirus cases among 774 in South Carolina, which has a total of 16 deaths, according to South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control data.
