‘Love conquers coronavirus’: Myrtle Beach couple doesn’t let outbreak ruin their I do’s

Why hold off on a forever promise because of the coronavirus?

Newlyweds Cory and Jeselyn Kohvakka were not going to let the coronavirus outbreak get in the way of saying “I do” on a Grand Strand pier Monday.

With all of their plans in place, the happy couple did not hesitate to say their I do’s during a morning wedding ceremony on the pier at Myrtle Beach State Park while surrounded by family.

“We already had it planned, and we weren’t going to let anything stop us,” Jeselyn Kohvakka said.

About a month ago, the couple made plans for their big day, Cory Kohvakka said. He said his favorite part of the day was “watching my beautiful bride walk down the sand and where we were getting married.”

The newlyweds are headed to Atlanta for their honeymoon.

“I guess this just shows love conquers the coronavirus,” Cory Kohvakka said.
