Horry County has an additional confirmed coronavirus case after latest DHEC update

One additional coronavirus case in Horry County was announced Saturday afternoon.

The total confirmed cases in the county is now nine with no deaths confirmed, according to the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control.

In South Carolina, the total confirmed cases is now 173.

Officials are encouraging folks young and old to practice social distancing, wash their hands and seek trusted sources for updates.
