Conway pastor’s wife tests positive for coronavirus, according to church Facebook post
The wife of a Conway pastor has been diagnosed with coronavirus, according to a Facebook post from Trinity UMC Conway, where he preaches.
The post states that both Kim Strong and his wife, Margo Strong, have been battling the flu and the latter’s health took a turn for the worse overnight.
“She was taken to a local hospital this morning and diagnosed with a blood clot in her lung, sepsis and viral pneumonia. She was tested for the virus and this afternoon confirmed for Covid-19,” the post states.
It is unclear if this is a new case or among the three that have been confirmed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control through Tuesday afternoon.
“I ask that you include her in your prayers that she will be healed and that Pastor Kim will remain healthy. Everyone please shutter in place!,” the Facebook post states. “Pray for the leadership of our nation, our states and local authorities, and please help the most vulnerable. A little common sense and sacrifice will not hurt any of us.”
Attempts to reach the family were not immediately successful.
